  • Sérodiagnostické metody jsou v současné době využívány zejména na vyšetření krevních sér či vzorků tkáňové tekutiny. Závazným postupem na vyšetření trichinelózy je v zemích EU trávicí metoda, která je však časově a finančně náročná. Rovněž má trávicí metoda i nižší citlivost při porovnání se sérologickými testy. Možnou alternativou pro diagnostiku trichinelózy jsou imunologické metody založené na principu nepřímého ELISA (Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay) testu. ELISA test nebyl doposud standardizován a je významným a aktuálním tématem v současné problematice diagnostiky trichinelózy. Tento test by měl sloužit nejen k nepřímé diagnostice trichinelózy u zvířat porážených na jatkách, ale také k diagnostice trichinelózy u volně žijících zvířat. Ve studii jsme se zabývali porovnáváním specifičnosti E/S antigenů získaných ze 4 různých druhů rodu Trichinella. Výsledky těchto experimentálních prací poukazují na možnost využití jednoho společného antigenu pro kontrolu trichinelózy a epidemiologické st (cs)
  • Serodiagnostic methods are used mainly for ante-mortem and post-mortem examination of serum samples for Trichinella-specific antibodies, and under some conditions may have a higher sensitivity than methods of direct detection. The ELISA (Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay) is recommended for farm surveillance programs and may be useful for epidemiological studies in wildlife or for establishing Trichinella-free areas. In this study our interest was to compare the specificity and the time of seroconversion of E/S antigens prepared from 4 Trichinella species. The earliest seroconversion was found in pigs infected with 20,000 T. spiralis and T. britovi larvae per animal (12 days post inoculation). In contrast, pigs infected with 200 T. pseudospiralis larvae per animal seroconverted on 54 days post inoculation. Homologous E/S antigens were more sensitive in two cases in detecting antibodies to the corresponding Trichinella species. Our results point to the potential use of one common antigen for su
