Description	Der Artikel bringt das Referát aus dem Deutschen Historikertag in Dresden, aus seiner Section für Regionalgeschichte. Das Kongressmotto lautete %22Ungleichheiten%22 und das Referat hatte zur Aufgabe deutsche Historiker und Historikerinnen mit zwei zeitlich, sprachlich und ideologisch ungleichen Formen der heimatlichen Arbeit bekannt zu machen, die die Aussiger Region charakterisieren. Nach den von Amateuren getragenen Anfängen im 19. Jahrhundert waren es Stadtmuseum und Stadtarchiv, die zur Organisationsgrundlage der Regionalhistoriografie geworden sind und diese Aufgabe ist ihnen auch nach der 2. Weltkrieg geblieben, wo die ursprüngliche mehrheitliche deutsche Bevölkerung ausgesiedelt wurde und im Museum und Archiv tschechische Fachmänner ihre deutschen Vorgänger ersetzten. Das von Deutschen entworfenes, nationalistisch einseitiges Bild der Vergangenheit war für die tschechische Gesellschaft natürlich unannehmbar, Weg zu einem ausgewogenen Blick auf das ehemalige Zusammenleben vo The published article gives us a paper from a regional historiography section of the Dresden convention of German historians in 2008. The motto of the convention was ?Ungleichheiten.? The paper intents to show to German historians the mostly distant issue of inequality towards the history of the Usti nad Labem region caused by nationalist motivations. After amateur beginnings in the early 19th century, the museum and the archive in Usti nad Labem became the foundation of local geography. Following the transfer of local German population after World War II their tasks were taken over by Czech experts who could not accept the interpretation of history from German nationalistic point of view as the need of Czech society for its self identification called for its own interpretation. The fall of communism in 1989 and the institutional changes accompanying the fall, especially the founding of Jan Evangelista Purkyne Univerzity in Usti nad Labem were the most important instants for the development of regi (en)
