Description
  • The combination of biolistics and Agrobacterium system allows taking advantage of both for effective genetic transformation systems (direct plus indirect) for various plant species. In our study we use the term agrolistic as the name for the method, which uses combination of (1) biolistics for mechanical disruption of explants, which follows (2) cocultivation in Agrobacterium suspension, thus proceeds the Agrobacterium-mediated transformation. Two chemical substances - acetosyringone (AS) and L-cysteine (CYS) were applied during cocultivation with the aim to enhance transformation efficacy.

Termín agrolistika označuje metodu, která využívá biolistiku pro mechanické narušení explantátů a následnou kokultivaci v agrobakteriální suspenzi. Byl odzkoušen vliv acetosyringonu a L-cysteinu s cílem zvýšit efektivitu transformace. (cs)
