Description	Via mutagenesis of the lines Te-93/3 and SU-45/85 the lines Te-60/101 and SU-244/40 with lower linolenic acid content were obtained. The choice of parental lines was targetted on obtainnig high yielding linseed line with very low linolenic acid content. Individual selection of 100 plants was carried out in F2 generation in 1996 as the basis of the progenies establishment in F3 generation. F4 – F6 generation were further evaluated as the progenies of the second – fourth year in 1998 – 2000. The initial progeny AGT – 248 was selected in F6 generation in 2000 and included in breeding stations trials in 2001. After trials lasting three years (2004 – 2006) the line was registered as the variety Amon in 2007. (en) Mutagenezí linií Te-93/13 a SU-45/85 byly získány linie s nižším obsahem kyseliny linolenové Te-60/101 a SU-244/40. Na hybridní populaci F1 generace byla v roce 1992 nakřížena kanadská odrůda olejného lnu McGregor a na tuto kombinaci křížení v roce 1994 v F1 generaci australská odrůda olejného lnu Glenelg. Vzniklá populace složitého kombinačního křížení byla v F2 generaci podrobena individuálnímu výběru a bylo vybráno 100 rostlin, jejichž potomstvo se stalo základem F3 generace jako kmenů . V následujících generacích F4 až F6 v letech 1998 – 2000 pokračovala selekce a hodnocení kmenového materiálu II., III. a IV. roku ve zkouškách výkonu. V roce 2000 v generaci F6 byl vybrán výchozí kmen označený AGT-248, který byl zařazen do mezistaničních zkoušek. V generaci F10 v roce 2004 bylo novošlechtění pod označením AGT-248 zařazeno do Státních zkoušek pro registraci odrůd a současně bylo v tomto roce založeno udržovací šlechtění. V roce 2007 bylo novošlechtění AGT-248 zaregistrováno pod názvem Amon. (cs)
