  • Účinné regenerační systémy patří k nejdůležitějším předpokladům úspěšné genetické transformace. Obecně je většina luskovin považována za obtížně geneticky transformovatelné. V případě hrachu byly pro genetickou transformaci pomocí Agrobacteria využity tři techniky (embryogeneze, organogeneze a in vivo). Plazmid obsahoval reporterový gen uidA a selekční geny nptII nebo bar. (cs)

Generally, majority of leguminous plants are considered as difficult to genetic transformation.
