Description	Results of a long-term study on effects of various tillage technologies on yields of winter wheat grown in chernozems soil in the sugar-beet region indicated the possibility of using shallow tillage when growing winter wheat after alfalfa and maize for silage and direct sowing of winter wheat after peas. The obtained results indicate that, under these conditions, it is possible to apply also technologies with a lower intensity of tillage, which are characterized by lower energy and labor consumption.
