Description
| - The loci Br-1 and Br-2 in durum wheat (T. durum Desf.) and Br-3 in T. aestivum L. determine disarticulation of rachides above the junction of the rachilla with the rachis such that a fragment of rachis is attached below each spikelet. Using microsatellite markers, the loci Br-1, Br-2 and Br-3 were mapped on the homoeologous group 3 chromosomes. The Br-2 locus was located on the chromosome 3AS and linked with the centromeric marker, Xgwm32, at a distance of 13.3 cM. The Br-3 locus was located on the 3BS and linked with the centromeric marker, Xgwm72 (at a distance of 14.2 cM). The Br-1 locus was located on the 3DS. The distance of Br-1 from the centromeric marker Xgdm72 was 25.3 cM. Mapping the Br-1, Br-2 and Br-3 loci of the brittle rachis suggests the homoeologous origin of these 3 loci. Since the genes for brittle rachis have been retained in the gene pool of durum wheat, the more closely linked markers with the brittle rachis locus are required to select against brittle rachis genotypes.

- Lokusy Br-1 a Br-2 u Triticum durum Desf. a lokus Br-3 u T. aestivum L. podmiňují rozpadavost klasového vřetena nad napojením vřetének klásků, takže jednotlivé segmenty po rozpadu nesou pod každým kláskem fragment klasového vřetena. Lokusy Br-1, Br-2 a Br-3 byly mapovány na homeologické skupině 3 chromosomů pomocí mikrosatelitních markerů. Lokus Br-2 byl lokalizován na krátkém ramenu chromosomu 3A a byl ve vazbě s centromerickým markerem Xgwm32 ve vzdálenosti 13,3 cM. Lokus Br-3 byl lokalizován na krátkém ramenu chromosomu 3B ve vazbě s centromerickým markerem Xgwm72 ve vzdálenosti 14,2 cM. Lokus Br-1 byl lokalizován na krátkém ramenu chromosomu 3D. Jeho vzdálenost od centromerického markeru Xgdm72 byla 25,3 cM. Mapování lokusů Br-1, Br-2 a Br-3 pro ukazuje na jejich homeologický původ. Geny pro rozpadavost klasového vřetena pocházejí z pšenice tvrdé. Markery s úzkou vazbou na lokusy pro rozpadavost klasového vřetena jsou použitelné k selekci proti rozpadavosti vřetene. (cs)
