  • Bylo prostudováno 13 nově zjištěných zdrojů odolnosti divokého ječmene Hordeum vulgare ssp. spontaneum k padlí travnímu s cílem zjistit počet genů odpovědných za odolnost k padlí travnímu, jejich alelické vztahy, alelismus s genem Mla a lokalizovat jednotlivé geny na genetické mapě ječmene. Genetické a molekulární analýzy byly provedeny na štěpících populacích F2 z křížení ozimého ječmene Tiffany a jednotlivých zdrojů odolnosti. Bylo zjištěno, že v pěti zdrojích je odolnost určena jedním genem, v sedmi zdrojích dvěma nezávislými geny a v jednom třemi nezávislými geny. S výjimkou jednoho analyzovaného genu byl způsob dědičnosti určen jako dominantní nebo polodominantní, pouze jeden byl recesivní. Testy alelismu potvrdily, že jeden gen odolnosti byl ve všech zdrojích Mla. Zřejmě různé alely lokusu Mla se účastní genetické determinace tohoto znaku a gen patří k nejúčinnějším. (cs)
  • Thirteen newly identified resistance sources of wild barley Hordeum vulgare ssp. spontaneum to powdery mildew were studied with the aim to identify the number of genes conferring resistance to powdery mildew, their allelic relationships, their allelism with Mla gene, and the to localise individual genes on barley genetic map. The genetic and the molecular analyses were performed in the segregating F2 populations of crosses between winter barley Tiffany and individual resistance sources. In five resistance sources the resistance was found to be determined by one gene, in seven sources by two independent genes and in one by three independent genes. The mode of inheritance of all analysed genes except one was determined to be dominant or semi-dominant, only one was recessive. Allelism tests confirmed that one resistance gene in all sources was Mla. Apparently, various alleles of Mla often participate in the genetic determination of this trait and the gene belongs to those with the highest efficiency.
