Description	Hodnocení nejdůležitějších pěstovaných a perspektivních odrůd jablek pomocí veřejných degustací probíhala v době od prosince do února na 4 místech charakterizovaných různou průměrnou roční teplotou a délkou vegetačního období. Odrůda Rubín a její mutace obdržely degustujícími v letech 2000-2004 nejvyšší bodové hodnoty, jak za chuť, tak i za kvalitu celkem téměř ve všech lokalitách. Odrůda Rubinola charakterizující se odolností proti strupovitosti byla hodnocena podobně a v průměru nebyla příliš horší od Rubínu. Za těmito dvěma vedoucími odrůdami následovaly Topaz, Angold a Jonagold reprezentovaný několika mutanty.
