| - Rootstocks were evaluated in terms of winter hardiness, drought resistance, and resistance to crown gall, soil fungi, leaf spot, and Prunus Necrotic Ring Spot Virus. P-HL-A was the most winter hardy of the dwarf clonal rootstocks, although it was susceptible to soil fungi. P-HL-C was the overall best of the dwarf clonal rootstocks. Cultivars were evaluated in terms of winter hardiness and resistance to fruit cracking, brown rot, leaf spot and the Prune Dwarf Virus. 'Aranka' and 'Vanda' were the most winter hardy of the cultivars tested. 'Sylvana' was the least susceptible to flower bud damage by winter and late spring frosts. 'Aranka' and 'Kordia' were the most resistant to fruit cracking and also the most resistant to brown rot. 'Karešova' was moderately resistant to leaf spot. All of the other cultivars were susceptible to leaf spot. 'Aranka' was also resistant to Prune Dwarf Virus. Of all of the cultivars tested, 'Aranka' is overall the most promising for organic cultivation.

- Podnože byly hodnoceny po stránce mrazuvzdornosti, suchovzdornosti a odolnosti k nádorovitosti kořenů, k půdním houbovým patogenům, skvrnitosti listů a k Prunus Necrotic Ring Spot Virus. Podnož P-HL-A byla ze zakrslých podnoží nejvíce mrazuvzdorná, avšak byla nejcitlivější k půdním houbám. Podnož P-HL-C se jevila ze všech slabě rostoucích klonových podnoží jako nejlepší. Odrůdy byly hodnoceny z hlediska mrazuvzdornosti a odolnosti vůči praskání plodů, moniliové hnilobě, listové skvrnitosti a PDV. 'Aranka' a 'Vanda' byly ze všech testovaných odrůd nejodolnější vůči zimním mrazům. 'Sylvana' byla nejméně citlivá na poškození květních pupenů zimními mrazy a pozdními jarními mrazíky. 'Aranka' a 'Kordia' byly nejodolnější vůči praskání plodů a vůči moniliové hnilobě. 'Karešova' byla nejodolnější vůči skvrnitosti listů. 'Aranka' byla také odolná vůči Prune Dwarf Virus. Tato odrůda se ze všech testovaných odrůd jeví jako nejvhodnější pro pěstování v systémech ekologického zemědělství. (cs)
