| - V období let 1994 až 2002 byly uskutečněny expedice na území České republiky za účelem záchrany původních odrůd ovocných dřevin, které se pěstovaly v dávné minulosti. Expedice byly zaměřeny převážně na příhraniční oblasti České republiky. V příspěvku uvádíme lokální odrůdy třešní. Z českých odrůdy třešních byly nalezeny: 'Bělice', 'Buky', 'Doupovská černá', 'Libějovická raná', 'Medovka', 'Plavky', 'Srdcovka přeúrodná', 'Šakvická', 'Vlašky' a 'Znojemská kaštánka'. Byla nalezena odrůda třešní 'Ladeho pozdní', která se vyznačuje nejpozdější dobou zrání ze všech doposud známých odrůd. V lokalitě Mrklov (658 m nad mořem) odrůda dozrávala začátkem září (v porovnání s odrůdou 'Van', která zraje kolem 10. července). Ve sledovaných oblastech byly identifikovány i odrůdy třešní, které se zde pěstovaly před 100 a více lety, které mají původ v zahraničí. Z německých odrůd to byly: 'Baltawarer', 'Dönissen's Gelbe Knorpelkirsche', 'Drogan's Gelbe Knorpelkirsche', 'Früheste der Mark', 'Grosse Schwarze Knorpelkirsche (cs)
- In the period 1994-2002, a number of expeditions in the territory of the Czech Republic were undertaken to collect and conserve original fruit landraces, cultivars (cvs.) which were cultivated in the past. The expeditions were directed mainly to the border regions of the country, where the chances of finding forgotten materials were better. Many interesting and valuable landraces and obsolete cultivars were found and brought to the National Collection. The following Czech sweet cherry landraces were found: 'Bělice', 'Buky', 'Doupovská černá', 'Libějovická raná', 'Medovka', 'Plavky', 'Srdcovka přeúrodná', 'Šakvická', 'Vlašky' and 'Znojemská kaštánka'. One of the most striking cultivars was 'Ladeho pozdní', which has the latest time of ripening of all known cultivars. It was ripe at the beginning of September (in comparison to the cultivar 'Van', that ripens around July 10) in the locality Mrklovat at an elevation of 658 m a.s.l.
