Description	Voda, jeden ze základních faktorů regulujících klima – voda je stale opomíjen. Hustě zalidněná města na celém světě vykazují průměrné teploty o 2 – 4 oC vyšší ve srovnání s krajinou s odstatkem vegetace. Koncept skleníkového efektu, který v 19. století navrhl Svante Arrhenius je diskutován z pohledu moderní fyziky. Klima je chápáno jako součást biosféry, jako výsledek dlouhodobé evoluce. Hospodáření v krajině (na rozsáhlých plochách) ovlivňuje podstatně lokální klima, protože tito hospodáři zacházejí s vegetací a vodou. Autonomní komunity s uzavřenými oběhy látek a vody budou schopny obnovit krátký vodní cyklus, zmírňit tak extrémy klimatu a zajistit setrvalé využívání krajiny a půdy. Climate is presented as a component of biosphere that had resulted from long term evolution. Area/landscape managers influence substantially local climate by dealing with vegetation and water. Autonom commune units with internal cycling of matter and water will be able to recover local water cycle, mitigate climate change and ensure sustainable use of landscape.
