| - This study describes parameterization of biomass functions applicable Scots pine (Pinus sylvestris, L.) in the conditions of Central Europe. Totally 52 sample trees from 7 sites situated in the different regions of the Czech Republic were used for destructive biomass measurements. The observed total aboveground biomass and the individual biomass components (stem over and under bark, bark, living branches, dead branches, needles and cones) were examined by different types of non-linear regression models using one to four independent variables included stem breast-height diameter (D), tree height (H), crown length (C) and tree age (A). The paper also discusses the issue of commonly used linearization of biomass equations and application of standard linear regression, and provides some comparative examples with the nonlinear approach used here. The paper presents all the parameter sets for the tested equations for the total BAB and individual biomass components.

- Tato studie popisuje parametrizaci alometrických vztahů pro biomasu borovice lesní v podmínkách střední Evropy. Destruktivně bylo proměřeno celkem 52 jedinců borovice na 7 lokalitách v různých částech České republiky. Alometrické vztahy pro celkovou nadzemní biomasu stromu a její komponenty (kmen bez a s kůrou, kůra, živé a suché větve, jehličí a šišky) byly testovány v různých nelineárních regresních modelech s jednou až čtyřmi nezávislými proměnnými tloušťka stromu (D), výška stromu (H), délka koruny (C) a věk stromu (A). Studie se zabývá též problematikou linearizace biometrických rovnic a aplikace standardních lineárních regresí, a pro porovnání udává příklady s nelineárním postupem používaným v této práci. Článek předkládá všechny sady parametrů testovaných rovnic pro celkovou biomasu a jednotlivé komponeety biomasy. (cs)
