| Description
| - OBJECTIVE: To determine feasibility of performing CT angiographic examination of aorta and large vessels and dural ectasia grading in a single CT exam in Marfan patients. DESIGN AND PATIENTS: 7 examinations in Marfan patients were performed of which 6 were CTA. In all exams aorta was evaluated. At the same time lumbosacral region of the spine was well delineated. We performed calculation of spinal canal ( SCI) and dural sac ( DSI) indices and also qualitative grading of dural sac involvement. RESULTS: In 4 patients both SCI (>4,50) and DSI (>3,75) fulfil criteria of Marfan syndrome. In 1 patient complete spondyloptosis was detected. CONCLUSION: Whole body CT or MRI examination are perfect tools in both aorta a spinal canal evaluation. Despite differences in spinal canal grading methods in all of our patients severe changes of spinal canal in lumbosacral region were detected. Dural ectasia is easy to detect and quantify and may be used as sensitive and specific sign of Marfan´s syndr

- CÍL: Posoudit možnost hodnocení nálezu na aortě a velkých cévách a zároveň stanovení stupně durální ektazie z jednoho CT angiografického vyšetření u pacientů s Marfanovým syndromem. SOUBOR: Bylo provedeno 7 vyšetření u pacinetů s Marfanovým syndromem, v 6 případech se jednalo o CT angiografii. Ve všech případech byla dobře hodnotitelná aorta a zároveň byla velice dobře zobrazena i lumbosakrální oblast páteře. Provedli jsme vždy výpočet indexu páteřního kanálu ( SCI) a durálního vaku ( DSI) a rovněž i kvalitativní hodnocení postižení durálního vaku. VÝSLEDKY: 4 pacienti dle hodnocení obou indexů (SCI (>4,50) a DSI (>3,75) splňovali kritéria stanovení Marfanova syndromu. U 1 pacienta byla diagnostikována kompletní spondyloptóza. ZÁVĚR: Celotělové CT nebo MR vyšetření jsou výbornými nástroji pro zhodnocení nálezu na aortě a páteřním kanálu. I přes existující rozdíly v metodice hodnocení stupně postižení páteřního kanálu u všech naších pacientů byly diagnostikovány výrazné změny pá (cs)
