| - Jednou z dominantních složek přírodního prostředí se zásadním vlivem na kvalitu životního prostředí lidské populace jsou lesy. Ekosystémové pojetí vztahu člověk-les konstatuje, že lesy jsou v úrovni přírodních systémů, tedy i pro lidskou populaci záchovnými, životadárnými zdroji. Celospolečenské funkce lesa jsou realizovanou produkcí naturálních ekosystémových účinků, tedy přírodních procesů, které probíhají nezávisle na člověku. Ekosystémová metoda kvantifikace a hodnocení funkcí lesa je proto založena na kvantifikaci a hodnocení prvků a parametrů ekosystémů lesa, determinujících jejich funkční účinky. Stěžejním problémem je způsob kvantifikace funkcí. Přímo měřitelná je kvantitativní hodnota bioprodukce ekosystému ( její složky s různou obtížností). Kvantita ostatních funkcí je tímto způsobem obtížně stanovitelná až nestanovitelná. Plně využitelný je však postup %22 parametrického zprostředkování%22 ( nepřímá kvantitativní parametrizace ). (cs)
- Forests are one of the dominant components of the natural environment with a basic influence on the quality of the environment of a human population. Ecosystem conception of the relationship between man and the forest states that forests are on the level of natural systems, i.e. subsistence life-giving resources even for the human society. All-society (i.e. of society as a whole) functions of forests are the realized production of natural ecosystem effects which are independent on man. The ecosystem method of quantification and evaluation of forest functions is, therefore, based on the quantification and evaluation of elements and parameters of forest ecosystems determining their functional effects. A main problem consists in the method of quantification of functions. Quantitative value of the ecosystem bioproduction (of course, its particular parts with different difficulty) is directly measurable. The quantity of other functions is hardly determinable or even undeterminable.
