Description	The Centre for Sport Activities of Brno University of Technology concentrates on kinetic and dynamic analysis of linear moves of a human. It measures speed and acceleration of moves by two tachographs with synchronous recordings of moves using three-four video cameras. As for professional swimming, coaches assessing the swimming techniques usually proceed in an abstract level. During trainings, their attention is mainly focused on quantity and intensity of swimming sections. In March 2011 we measured the swimming speed of junior representation of the Czech Republic. Each measured representative was evaluated in terms of maximum mean speed (m.s-1), efficiency of swimming technique, coefficient of variation (%) and variance (m2s-2). If high values of the above mentioned variables are not achieved, it will not be possible to give performance at worldwide level.
