Description
  • Results of R+D production and use of system of means for chemical reconnaisance and on-site detection of organophosphorus agents based on enzymatic inhibition is presented. The system consists of simple means (such as detection papers and detection tubesbased on visual colorimetric detection using preparation of butyrylcholinesterase and non-biogenic substrate, preferably salt of butyrylthiocholine) and methods introduced in both portable and mobile chemical laboratories base on spectrophotometric methods using the above mentioned principle. Possibilities of modifications for electrometric and fluorometric methods are discussed. Experience with the practical use are reviewed.
