  • ASM (Any Source Multicast) and SSM (Source-Specific Multicast) are the two types of multicast used in IP-based networks. SSM is expected to cover all types of multimedia sessions with many receivers and only one source, such as IPTV broadcasting. The paper describes simulation tools for IPTV broadcasting systems with millions of subscribes.   • Multicast je preferovaná technologie pro přenosy v IP sítích s více příjemci. ASM (Any Source Multicast) a SSM (Source-Specific Multicast) jsou dva používané typy multicastu. ASM multicast je navržen pro komunikaci %22jeden k jednomu%22 i %22jeden k mnoha%22. SSM multicast je odvozen z ASM. SSM je používán tam, kde je pouze jednomu členu multicastu povoleno vysílat média a ostatní přijímají. Příkladem použití SSM může být vysílání IPTV. Článek popisuje hierarchickou agregaci signalizace používané v SSM. Pro účely této agregace, členové multicastu jsou organizováni do stromové struktury. V článku je prezentována struktura, která se sestává z koncových členů a sumarizačních členů. Koncoví členové jsou příjemci multicastu a sumarizační členové jsou servery, které provádějí agregaci signalizace. Navržený protokol MFCP (Multicast Feedback Control Protocol) je použit pro sestavení této stromové struktury a pro výměnu informací potřebný (cs)
