  • Přenos dat na silně vytížených sítích založených na struktuře best-effort nezaručují QoS a jednotnou distribuci síťových prostředků pro různé druhy aplikací. Tento článek se zaměřuje na jednu z možných komponent diferenciovaných služeb, která se nazývá trafic shaping (tvarování provozu). Použítím QoS a její konfigurace kdy je provoz řízen v obou směrech je stále častěji používaným způsobem. Tento stav není jen na sítích WAN, ale i v lokálních sítích. Tímto způsobem může být měněna rychlost přenosu jednotlivých služeb i uživatelů v závislosti na celkové konektivitě sítě. (cs)
  • Data transmission on heavily loaded networks in best-effort structure does not guarantee Quality of Services and uniform network distribution for the different sorts of application. This paper is focused on one of the possible network component of the differentiated services which is called traffic shaping. Using Quality of Services and its configuration the traffic in both directions is controlled more and more often today. This state is not only in wide area networks, but in local company networks as well. This way the transmission speed can be changed for individual services and individual users in dependence on the total network connection speed.
