  • Ke stanovení kvlity optických bezkabelovýxch spojů je nutné monitorovat dostupnost a pravděpodobnost přerušení spoje. Kvalita může být definována za pomocí BER. V praxi se při stanovení BER setkáváme s problémem potřebné doby měření pro stanovení chybovosti. Pro měření a záznam byl vyvinut měřič chybovosti BERT. (cs)

This quality can be defined by the optical beam bit error rate (BER). Bit error rate BER presents the percentage of successfully transmitted bits. In practice, BER runs into the problem with the integration time (measuring time) determination. For measuring and recording of BER at OWL the bit error ratio tester (BERT) has been developed.
