  • Modem pro přenos dat po telefonních kanálech, který vyhovuje doporučení UIT V.34, je zařízení s velmi složitou strukturou. Významnou složku při realizaci převodu vstupního bitového toku na výstupní signál je použití mřížového kódu pro zabezpečení informace o poloze fázoru před chybami. V důsledku fázového neklidu v komunikačním kanálu je často tato poloha změněna. Způsob ochrany protichybovým kódováním je použit také v jiných modemech. Ale kód který užitý v modemu V.34 je zcela odlišný. To je právě důvood našeho zájmu o tento kód. Předložený text obsahuje stručný popis tohoto kódu. (cs)
  • The modem for data transmission over telephone channels that complies with the UIT V.34 recommendation is a device with a very complex structure. An important component in the realization of the conversion of input bit flow to output signal is the application of trellis code in order to secure information about the phasor position against errors. This position is frequently changed due to the phase jitter in the communication channel. Protection via anti-error encoding is used in other modems too. But tthe code used in the V.34 modem is quite different. That is the reason why we are interested in this code. The text below gives a brief description of this code.
