Description
| - A QoS evaluation in trunked radio networks usually demands a long-term measurement. The measurement is affected by the high cost and complexity of the hardware required. The paper deals with proposing an SDL model covering communication in the general trunked radio network. Using this SDL model, a communication can be simulated without any hardware implementation. The simulation results obtained can be easily used for estimating QoS parameters, setting service thresholds and, consequently, for classifyiing service availability. An example of using the SDL model is presented in the paper. The example covers evaluating the selected QoS parameters related to communication initiation between trunked radio network and IP network.

- Vyhodnocování kvality služeb (QoS) v hromadných rádiových sítích vyžaduje často dlouhodobá měření. Tyto měření jsou málo dostupná z důvodu vysoké ceny a složitostí použitého hardware. Článek popisuje návrh modelu v jazyce SDL, který zahrnuje komunikaci vtéto rádiové síti. Model slouží k simulaci komunikace bez hardwarové implementace. Pomocí simulace mohou být snadno vyhodnoceny parametry kvality služeb a následně tyto služby klasifikovány jako dostupné či nedostupné. Vzorový příklad použití modelu je uveden v článku. Příklad zahrnuje vyhodnocení zvolených parametrů z procesu inicializace spojení mezi hromadnou rádiovou a IP sítí. (cs)
