Description	The contribution describes an usage of ultracapacitors in order to increase the efficiency of the system electric drive + traction accumulator especially at relatively short current peaks (regenerative braking, acceleration of the electromobile). The connection of the ultacapacitor to the DC intercircuit of the traction inverter by a 2-quadrant inverter is proposed. Using an available control system the absorption of high current peaks caused in the DC link by the traction inverter during acceleration oor regenerative braking is enabled. The attention is paid to the energy balance and to the design of the ultracapacitor. An usable control structure is given too. (en) Příspěvěk je věnován možnostem využití ultrakapacitoru pro zvýšení účinnosti soustavy elektrického pohonu s trakčním akumulátorem oři krátkodobých nárazových proudech (rekuperační brždění, akcelerace vozidla). Je popsáno propojení ultrakapacitoru se stejnosměrným meziobvodem trakčního měniče (akumulátorem) pomocí dvoukvadrantového měniče. Vhodným způsobem regulace se pak umožní pokrytí prudkých proudových výkyvů obou polarit způsobených vlastním trakčním měničem při rekuperaci či akceleraci vozidla. Pozzornost je věnována rozboru energetické bilance, dimenzování ulrakapacitoru základním parametrům konkrétního typu ultrakapacitoru. Rovněž je popsána použitelná regulační struktura.
