  • The present article deals with pressure losses and heat output of the hydraulic blocks of the linear integrated hydraulic unit. One of the most common problems for design of hydraulic systems are the pressure losses caused by movement of viscous liquids in the individual elements of hydraulic circuits. These losses have negative effects on the overall efficiency of hydraulic systems and thus on their overall operation. As the result of the above mentioned losses there is an increase in temperature of working fluid and hydraulic circuit components. This article is focused on heat generation (output) in hydraulic blocks of a linear integrated hydraulic unit (hereinafter LIHU) which is the prototype of a hydraulic lifting device.
