Description
  • Preparation of two types of perovskite system based on La - Sr - Fe - Ti - O and processing behavior (shaping, pressing and sintering) were studied within this work. The La1-xSrxFe1-yTiyO3-d (x = 0.8, y = 0.2 - 0.4) ceramics was synthesized by two wet chemical techniques - glycine/nitrate combustion reaction and spray pyrolysis method. XRD analysis of prepared powders showed single phase perovskite structure. The dense ceramic bodies in the shape of rectangular bars with relative bulk density in the range of 96 - 98 % were prepared by pressureless sintering at 1200C for 8 - 10 hours. The thermal expansion of sintered ceramic was studied by high temperature dilatometry. The coefficient of thermal expansion was determined in the range of 14.10-6 K-1- 31.10-6 K-1.
