Description
  • The cure of the younger patients with disease of the hip joint is difficult clinical problem. The most common cause of prostheses failure is aseptic or mechanical loosening. A critical place is the connection between the prosthesis and the bone. Therefore, the aim of this contribution is to perform the stress - strain analysis of hip joint with the surface replacement for variety of the interfaces between the prosthesis and the bone using ANSYS 6.1 and to compare results.
