Description	The paper informs of the results of the material analysis of selected typographical objects from the early Moravian printing works in Kralice upon Oslava. The Brethren printing works of a very great importance in the history of the Czech Lands printed, besides others, the famous six-volume Kralice Bible (1579 - 1593). Find objets, especially the printer´s types made of type-alloy, form part of a collection which is unique in the world. The chemical composition of the types, their microstructure, microhaardness and the composition of corrosion products on the types were established. A suitable method of type restoration and conservation was worked out and practically verified. Besides the objects made of type-alloy also the objects made of copper alloys, as for instance brass pins and spaces, were analyzed.
