Description	Fracture of cylindrical specimens with longitudial surface notches under compression test were experimentally studied. Geometry of the highly- ductile steel´s specimens and frictional conditions (grooved, dry smooth and lubricated smooth dies) were changed. Failure Limit Diagrams (FLD) were output results for specific technic conditions. FLD can be used for comparison of particular forming processes. The strain paths from FLD are used as input data for FEM simulation of compression process and specifiicaton of optimal Fracture Criteria of tested steel. The paper contain comparison of two cases of specimens- with longitudial notches depths 0.4 and 0.8 mm. (en) V příspěvku jsou uvedeny výsledky z experimentálního zjišťování charakteristik tvařitelnosti vysoce tvárné oceli TRISTAL ve formě limitních diagramů tvařitelnosti polotovarů s možnými povrchovými vadami, které jsou reálným jevem u hutních polotovarů pro objemové tváření za studena. U polotovarů s povrchovými podélnými vadami je předpoklad, že u nich dochází k porušení tvárným lomem při menších stupních deformace v porovnání s polotovary bez vrubů. Tvařitelnost oceli TRISTAL byla testována při různé geommetrii vzorků a vrubů a různých třecích podmínek daných úpravou kontaktních ploch pěchovacích kovadel.
