Description
  • This paper deals with creation and comparison of pedestrian load models on slender footbridges. The structures are analyzed to evaluate the dynamic response of the effects of dofferent load models and their application for assessing ultimate limit state and serviceability of bridges and meet the criteria of the user experience in terms of vibration reduction. The paper analyed two steel footbridges of different construction. The first footbridge is a cable-stayed bridge with a span of 87.5 m in the second case it is an arch bridge with a span of 101.9 m. The slender bridges are modeled by finite element method in ANSYS software.
