Description
  • This paper deals with design problematic of systems whereby the steel structure is into the concrete foundation anchored by steel bonded anchorss. The article is focused on problems of post-installed steel bonded anchors real behaviour. This paper describes experiments with anchors exposed to tension load. Anchors were installed near the edge of concrete body. Results of these experiments are compared to numerical model created in ATENA software and also to free HILTI PROFIS anchor software based on methods described in corresponding with methods described in ETAG [1]. Anchor behaviour during its service live is affected by many parameters as steel bold material characteristics, basic material characteristic (usually concrete), contact material characteristics (glue or mortar), installation process and placing of anchor, influence of concrete reinforcement, tightening moment, load type, etc.
