  • Cílem metody akustické emise je nalézt změny (především defekty) v materiálové struktuře. Je nutné předpovědět, jaké parametry má akustický signál v daném materiálu. To lze zjistit sérií experimentů nebo pomocí matematického modelu. Článek popisuje základní postup, jak napsat počítačový program pro numerický výpočet šíření vln v homogenním a izotropním materiálu.   • The goal of acoustic emission is to determine material changes (namely defects). It is necessary to predict, how the acoustic signal looks like in a given material. This can be done by a series of experiments or by a mathematical method. This article describes a simple approach how to make a computer program for numerical computing of wave propagation in homogeneous and isotropic material.
