  • Velký rozvoj v oblastech telekomunikačních a informačních technologií představuje příležitosti pro budování virtuálních a vzdálených laboratoří, které umožňují moderními prostředky, přitažlivým a hlavně praktickým způsobem přiblížit studentům teoretické i praktické poznatky a pomoci jim prohloubit chápání náročnějších partií, spojených s moderními metodami návrhu, konstrukce a simulace prostřednictvím internetu, nezávisle na konkrétním pracovišti. V tomto článku je představena architektura vzdálené laboratoře postavené na výpočetním jádru softwaru Matlab, která byla vybudována pro podporu výuky elektrotechnických a informatických předmětů a která svým charakterem vytváří univerzální a flexibilní podporu distančního vzdělávání.   • The great development in the field of telecommunication and information technologies presents the opportunity for building the virtual and the distance laboratories which in modern, attractive and practical way allow to explain the students the theoretical and practical information, as well as to help them to understand the more complicated parts connected with the modern methods of designing, construction and simulation by means of internet independent of the working place. This article introduces the architecture of virtual laboratory built on computing core of Matlab software which has been realized to support teaching of electrical engineering subjects and information technology subjects. Furthermore its character makes it universal and flexible support for distance learning.
