  • The present work uses an irreversible thermodynamics model (Spiegler-Kedem model) and pore model Steric Hindrance Pore model in order to determine the NF membrane characteristics (pore size, effective thickness to porosity ratio), and then for predicting the performance of the membrane used in the removal of toxic Pb(II) ions from wastewaters.
