Description	A characteristic feature of the current market environment is an effort to build and strengthen long-term relationships between the business partners in the chain/network, both on the bilateral and multilateral level. The primary purpose of these activities is to achieve greater business efficiency by creating such benefits that are not attainable without cooperation of the partners. The benefits of the collaboration can take many forms; increasingly important are such forms of cooperation that contribute to achieving the strategic objectives of the business partners, strengthen their strategic position in the target markets and reduce uncertainty in the business relations. In a turbulent environment, it is these benefits, often intangible, that have a significant impact on the size of the perceived value. The cooperation has to generate corresponding effects for both the customers and the suppliers. This paper deals mainly with the benefits brought by greater synergies to the suppliers and their impact on suppliers? performance.
