Description
  • The constant pressure cake filtration of Krasten polystyrene particles from viscoelastic aqueous solutions of polyacryl amide Kerafloc and Praestol on filter screens with different resistance has been investigated experimentally. A filtration equation has been presented and confirmed by experiments. It was shown that the higher filter screen resistance caused a shift of filtration curve and the curve became to be linear. It can evoke a fiction of the filtration in the purely viscous flow mode.
