Description
  • The supported VMoOx-HMS catalysts prepared by wet impregantion were characterized by means of XRF, N2-BET, UV-Vis spectroscopy, H2-TPR and studied oxidative dehydrogenation (ODH) activity of n-butane. The mixed V-Mo oxide units were determined on the catalyst surface by H2-TPR. The UV-Vis spectroscopy proved presence of isolated tetrahedrally coordinated monomeric VOx species and isolated tetrahedral coordinated dimeric MoOx species. The highest selectivity and productivity were observed at mixed VMoOx catalysts with the molar ratio 1 : 1.
