  • Bylo připraveno několik organokovových komplexů, které byly testovány jako fotoiniciátory kationtové polymerace. Připravené komplexy se rozpadají působením UV záření na odpovídající aromát a železo cyclopentadienový kation, který pak funguje jako aktivní částice při polymeraci. Fotorozpad iniciátorů byl sledován pomocí UV-VIS spectroscopie. Účinnost iniciace polymerace byla sledována pomocí FTIR v epoxidovém a vinyletherovém pojivu. (cs)
  • Several arene-iron complexes were tested as photoinitiators for cationic polymerization. The UV light decomposes arene-ironcyclopentadienyl (arene-Fe+Cp) cation selectively to the corresponding aromatic compound and iron cyclopentadiene (CpFe+) cation. Structure of aromatic compound affects decomposition upon UV light. FeCp+ formed during irradiation is active species for cationic polymerization. Decomposition of arene-iron initiators upon UV light was followed by UV-VIS spectroscopy. Efficiency of polymerization initiatiation was followed by FTIR spectroscopy in vinylether and epoxide monomers by monitoring the decrease of IR bands characteristic for reactive functional groups (double bond for vinylethers and epoxy ring for epoxides). New photoinitiators were compared with the commercially available photoinitiator Irgacure 261 ? (5-2,4-cyclopentadien-1-yl)[(1,2,3,4,5,6-)-(1-methylethyl)benzene]ferrous hexafluorophosphate.
