| - Druhy Ureaplasma urealyticum a Mycoplasma hominis jsou často izolovány z genitálního ústrojí žen. Jejich výskyt bývá dáván do souvislosti s různými typy onemocnění mezi které lze zařadit zánět malé pánve, zánět vejcovodů a vaječníku nebo bakteriální vaginózu. Tyto mikroorganismy jsou převážně izolovány z genitálního ústrojí sexuálně aktivních žen. Cílem této studie bylo zjistit výskyt M. hominis a U. uealyticum v genitálním ústrojí žen s různými klinickými symptomy. Vzorky byly odebrány z krčku děložního náhodně vybraných žen a kultivovány na PPLO agaru a bujónu. Izolované kmeny byly zařazeny do druhu podle jejich schopnosti štěpit arginin nebo ureu na PPLO-argininovém bujónu nebo na PPLO-ureovém bujónu. Druhová příslušnost jednotlivých kmenů byla potvrzena polymerázovou řetězovou reakcí. Celkem bylo vyšetřeno 217 stěru z krčku děložního. M. hominis bylo izolováno z 24 vzorků (11 %) a U. urealyticum z 96 vzorků (44 %). Pozitivní nález byl vyhodnocen ve vztahu k onemocnění a věku pacientky a dru (cs)
- Ureaplasma urealyticum and Mycoplasma hominis are the most frequently isolated mycoplasmas from the human genital tract. They have been linked to pelvic inflammatory diseases such as tubo-ovarian abscess, salpingitis and bacterial vaginosis. These microorganisms are the most prevalent in the genital tract of sexually active women. The aim of this study was to determine the incidence of M. hominis and U. urealyticum in the genital tract of women with different clinical symptoms. Specimens were taken from the cervix of randomly selected women and cultivated on PPLO agar and broth. Isolates were tested in PPLO-arginine broth and PPLO-urea broth and confirmed by Polymerase Chain Reaction method. A total of 217 cervical swabs were investigated. M. hominis was isolated in 24 cases (11 %) and U. urealyticum in 96 cases (44 %). The positive samples were compared with regard to genital symptoms, age of women and kind of contraception.
