| - Mycoplasma hominis je mikroorganismus, který může být izolován ze sliznice genitálního ústrojí žen. Často je dáván do souvislosti s celou řadou onemocnění mezi které se řadí zánět malé pánve, vaječníků a vejcovodů. Lze jej také izolovat od žen s bakteriální vaginózou. Podíl M. hominis na vzniku bakteriální vaginózy nebyl zatím přesně objasněn, protože M. hominis bývá izolováno spolu s dalšími druhy mikroorganismů. Cílem této studie bylo zjistit výskyt M. hominis v genitálním ústrojí žen s různými klinickými symptomy. Celkem bylo vyšetřeno 351 vzorků odebraných z krčku děložního žen. M. hominis bylo izolováno v 83 případech (23,6 %). Pozitivní výsledky byly porovnány s klinickými symptomy a věkem pacientek. M. hominis bylo izolováno v 33.3 % z těhotných žen a v 27.5 % od žen mezi 31 ? 40 věkem života. U izolovaných kmenů byla testována citlivost k doxycyklinu, ciprofloxacinu a erytromycinu. (cs)
- Mycoplasma hominis is a common inhabitant of the vagina of healthy women. It has been linked to pelvic inflammatory diseases such as tubo-ovarian abscess and salpingitis. Mycoplasma hominis is also associated with bacterial vaginosis but it is still unclear whether the organism really contributes to a pathological process in which so many different bacteria are involved. The aim of this study was to determine the incidence of Mycoplasma hominis in the genital tract of women with different clinical symptoms. A total of 351 cervical swabs were investigated. Mycoplasma hominis was isolated in 83 cases (23.6 %). The positive samples were compared with regard to genital symptoms and age of women. Mycoplasma hominis was isolated in 33.3 % from pregnant women and 27.5 % from group of 31 ? 40 years old women. Susceptibility of clinical isolates of Mycoplasma hominis was studied to doxycycline, ciprofloxacin and erythromycin.
