Description	Agora Central Europe- společnost pro demokracii a kulturu, Czech NGO won a tender and received a contract from UNDP, Bratislava Regional Center in order to organize Study tour of Ukrainian policy makers on Economic Transformation to the Czech Republic. The aim was to organize an educational study tour for 12 representatives of Ukrainian governing bodies on transformation processes of Czech Republic. A) Reform steps in selected Government areas B) Strategy of reforms C) Institutional background of transition Reform steps in selected Government areas A substantial part of the program was devoted to the practice of economic policy-making in the CR. There were issues ranging from organization of the budget (M. Horcicova), to reforms of the budget (P. Mertlík), to the process of making macroeconomic predictions at the MF (F. Cvengros). These areas reflect competences of the Ukrainian Ministry of Economy where the participants come from.
