Description
  • The social and political changes that took place after 1989 affected organizational structure of public administration in an essential way, contrary to changes in a system of judiciary. The old system based on peoples committees local, district, and county peoples committees) appeared unsustainable anymore. Hence already in spring of 1990, the trends heading towards more or less traditional system of administration, which was known in Czech at the end of the first Czechoslovakia, prevailed.
