Description	Lecture at the Department of German at the University of Augsburg (Department of the New German Literature - prof. Dr. Mathias Mayer.)shows on the example of translations of an early poem “Where we have Salt at Home” and a late one “The Path” the span of Skácel's work - between folk literature (Moravian sentiment) and classical modernism (world literature); between one dominated by a poetic image and one preoccupied with consonant instrumentation. The theme of salt references Karel Jaromir Erben's fairy tales as well as the alchemy of modern lyricism. (en) Vortrag am Institut f. Germanistik der Universität Augsburg (3. 7. 2014, 17.30-19 h, Raum 4142, Lehrstuhl Neuere Deutsche Literatur Mathias Mayer) Am Beispiel des übersetzten Frühgedichts wo wir zu hause das Salz haben sowie des Spätgedichts weg wird die Spannweite von Skácels OEuvre zwischen der Volksdichtung (mährisches Sentiment) und der Weltliteratur (klassische Moderne), zwischen Bild und Lautung demonstriert. Im Salzmotiv wird die Zweipoligkeit zwischen dem Vermächtnis des tschechischen Märchenerzählers Karel Jaromír Erben und der Alchemie der modernen Lyrik manifest. Das Motiv windung (der) Rose ist irgendwo zwischen dem Goethischen Naturbild und Rilkes nichtgegenständlicher Dichtung verortet und verweist verborgen auf Skácels kapillarische Rilke-Rezeption (insbesondere auf die der Sonette an Orpheus, wie ihre Entstehung von Rilkes Freund Rudolf Kassner, Skácels mährischem Landsmann, reflektiert wurde, bzw. auf Rilkes Grabspruch.
