Prague Old Testament scholarship of 20th century provides through its three exponents /Daněk, Bič, Heller/ specific contribution to the theme of tradition process. Each of three mentioned scholars is introduced and then critically evaluated. The study proposes also final synthesis as a starting point for further research of this issue.
