Description	We have analysed US measurements of peak systolic and end diastolic velocities along with pulsatility and resistance indexes in common, internal and external carotid artery (n=199) and in vertebral arteries (N=200)in patients withous stenosis. Two other cohorts of patients with ICA stenosis (N=231) and patients prior to and after therapeutic recanalization (N=81) were evaluated in the same parameters. In the range of 20-90 years systolic and diastolic velocities decrease by 7-0,86 mm/s/year in the respective vessels. Ve dvou dalších kohortách byli pacienti se stenózou vnitřní karotidy (N=231) a pacienti před a po terapeutické rekanalizaci. V rozmezí 20-90 let systolické a diastolické rychlosti klesají o o 7-0,86 mm/s/rok pro jednotlivé tepny. Dále jsou uvedeny hodnoty zrychlení krevního toku ve stenotické karotidě před a po léčebném zákroku (cs)
