  • During 1920s and 1930s The City Theatre (Stadtheater) in Opava became the stage for German permanent company and two Czech guest ones. The German theatre continued former tradition, nevertheless, it was in a more difficult position due the changed political situation (establishing Czechoslovakia in 1918). The economical and artistic interests of The City Theatre has been damaged by increasing number of the days of performance reserved only for Czech performances. (en)
  • Zur Zeit der 20. - 30. Jahre des 20. Jahrhunderts wirkte im Stadttheater Opava ein deutsches und zwei tschechische Gasttheater auf einer Bühne. Deutsches Theater schließte kontinuierlich an ehemalige Tradition an, aber es wurde in Folge der Änderung der politisch-gesellschaflichen Verhältnissen (Entstehung der Tschechoslowakei im Jahre 1918) in schwierigere Situation gestellt. Die sich immer steigende Zahl der Spieltage, die für die tschechische Theater bestimmt wurde, hat es negativ wie ökonomisch als auch betrieblich beeinflusst.
  • V období 20. - 30. let 20. století působilo v opavském Městském divadle jedno německé a dvě hostující česká divadla na jedné scéně. Německé divadlo kontinuálně navázalo na dřívější tradice, ale bylo vzhledem ke změně politicko-společenských poměrů (vznik Československa v roce 1918) postaveno do obtížnější situace. Stále se zvyšující počet hracích dnů určený pro česká představení jej negativně ovlivnilo ekonomicky i provozně. (cs)
