Description
  • The goal of the research was to identify how important the distance between the milk producer and the milk processor was in the decision process concerning which dairy plant would become the processor. Costs for various lengths of milk collection journeys in Europe were examined. The difference of costs, when short and long journey travelled, was compared to the range of raw milk prices in selected regions of Europe. The results should show economically reasonable distance between milk producers and milk processors for the milk collection if milk quotas are increased or abolished.

  • Cílem výzkumu bylo zjištění významu vzdálenosti mezi výrobcem mléka a zpracovatelem mléka v rozhodovacím procesu, která mlékárna se stane zpracovatelem. Ve výzkumu byly šetřeny náklady sběru mléka v Evropě pro různé vzdálenosti. Rozdíl v nákladech pro krátkou a dlouhou cestu byl porovnán s rozpětím cen zemědělských výrobců mléka ve vybraných regionech Evropy. Výsledky ukazují, jaká vzdálenost výrobce mléka by pro zpracovatele mléka v Evropě byla z hlediska sběru mléka ekonomicky zdůvodnitelná v případě navýšení či zrušení kvót. (cs)
