Description
| - The development of land market as well as land consolidation depend on the prosperity of the Czech agriculture. Because of the long-term non-profitability of the Czech agriculture, the land market has not developed. Land consolidation, after the initial restitution, is stagnating at present as the supply of finances dwindles. In this contribution, there are stated the conclusions of selective investigations into market prices of land. Subject of market are predominantly small size plots of land for non-agricultural purposes are bought minimally, and their market price is lower than the official price. The land consolidation assumed sale of state land and, in a somewhat longer time perspective, also the proposed legal act on land transaction, due 2003.
