  • The purpose of the present study was to assess the effect of diets for market pigs with 20% inclusion of lupine seeds, cv. Amiga, on the performance, health status, carcass characteristics, fatty acids profile of meat lipids and nutritional and sensory parameters of meat. The experiments were performed on 50 pigs with initial body weight of 35.6 +- 2.2 kg, fed isonitrogenic and isoenergetic diets partly ad libitum for 90 days. Feed intake was not adversely affected by lupine inclusion. BWG was significantly higher (P<0.05) in E3 group in comparison with cereal-lupine diet group (E1) and the other groups by 12.6 to 15.9% during the initial 30 days. The highest BWG (0.88 +- 0.07 kg/kg) during the entire experimental period was obtained with the fat containing diet (E3); that was non significantly higher by 2.3 to 10.0% in comparison with the other diets. Feed conversion rate was reduced in groups E3 and E2 (2.55 and 2.58 kg/kg BWG) by 3.1 to 7.6% in comparison with C1, C2 and E1 groups..

  • Cílem práce bylo zhodnotit vliv krmných diet výkrmových prasat s 20% inkluzí semene lupiny cv. Amiga na užitkovost, zdraví, jatečné ukazatele, obsah mastných kyselin v tuku a nutriční a senzorickou kvalitu masa. Pokusy byly provedeny na 50 prasatech s iniciální hmotností 35,6 +- 2,2 kg, která byla semiadlibitně krmena isonitrogenními a isoenergetickými dietami 90 dní. Zařazením lupiny nebyl negativně ovlivněn příjem krmiva. Vysoce průkazně vyšší (P<0,01) byl denní přírůstek (BWG) u skupiny E3 ve srovnání s ostatními skupinami o 11,3 až 17,5% v prvních 30 dnech pokusu. Nejvyšší BWG (0,88 +- 0,07 kg/kg) byl dosažen u diety s tukem (E3), který byl vysoce signifikantně rozdílný ve srovnání s lupinovou dietou (P<0,01); vůči ostatním byl vyšší o 2,3 až 6,0%. Konverze krmiva byla u skupin E3 a E2 (2,55 a 2,58 kg/kg BWG) redukována o 3,1 až 7,6% vůči skupinám C1, C2 a E1. (cs)
