Description
| - Paratuberculosis, caused by M.a.paratuberculosis, produces chronic lymphogranulomatous enterocolitis. Due to spread of paratuberculosis on cattle farms after frequent importation since the year 1989, the occurrence of paratuberculosis was monitored in 7 species of wild ruminants during 8-year period. A total of 6935 animals of wild ruminant species involved: 1692 red deer, 1534 roe deer, 1905 fallow deer, 125 sika deer, 1518 mouflons, 27 bezoars, and 134 chamois. These animals were bred in wild nature, game parks and on farms. PTBC was diagnosed in the GI tract/faeces of 288 animals. The most infected wild ruminant species was red deer, which is considered as more susceptible to this disease than cattle. With respect to the origin of wild ruminants, the highest prevalence of infection was found on deer and mouflon farms. By RFLP analysis 182 MAP isolates were classified to 8 different RFLP types: B-C1, B-C5, B-C9, B-C16, B-C32, D-C12, M-C16, R-I4, which we found in domestic ruminants.

- Paratuberkulóza,vyvolaná M.a.paratuberculosis, způsobuje chronickou lymphogranulomatózní enterocolitis. Vlivem zvýšenému dovozu skotu po roce 1989 došlo k rozšíření paratuberkulózy na farmách skotu a následně byl zaznamenán výskyt partuberkulózy u dalších 7 druhů divokých přežvýkavců během 8-letého období. Celkem 6935 zvířat divokých přežvýkavců zahrnovalo tyto druhy: 1692 jelenů, 1534 srnců, 1905 daňků, 125 jelenů sika, 1518 muflonů, 27 bezoárů a 134 kamzíků. (cs)
