| - Příznivé působení různých rašelinových preparátů na trávení, růst a imunitní systém zvířat a účinky absorpční a detoxikační jsou vázány především na vysoký obsah příznivě působících huminových látek. Nevýhodou je značná nehomogenita různých druhůrašelin,způsobená rozdílnými biologickými, chemickými, fyzikálními a geologickými podmínkami při jejich vzniku. Biologický účinek různých rašelinových preparátů je vázán nejen na chemickou strukturu a fyzikálně-chemické vlastnosti rašeliny, ale i narůzné způsoby jejich aplikace. Na základě dosavadních studií není zcela jednoznačné, jaký způsob aplikace je pro jednotlivé druhy zvířat nejúčinnější. K objasnění tohoto problému bude nutné provést další studie především u hospodářských zvířat.Potenciální nebezpečízkrmování rašeliny představuje možnost její primární nebo sekundární kontaminace mykobaktériemi. - Beneficial effects of various peat preparations on digestion, growth and the immune systems of animals as well as the absorbent and detoxifying capabilities are associated with the high content of favourable humic substances. One disadvantage of usingpeat preparations is the considerable diversity of the various types of peat caused by different biological, chemical and geological conditions during formation. Biological activity of various peat preparations is associated not only with fluctuations inthechemical compositions, but also with different application techniques. Based on the existing studies, it is unclear which application technique is most effective for respective animal species. Further studies should be conducted to elucidate theproblem,with the inclusion of farm animals. One potential risk of peat feeding is the possibility of primary or secondary mycobacterial contamination.
